Mohave Community College offers a wide variety of arts and cultural opportunities and events. The Leisure Studies Program offers weekly activities of historical, cultural, artistic and scientific interest including guest lectures and presentations provided free of charge through its popular "Coffee at the College" program. Additionally, there are a wide variety of short and on-going courses available through the Leisure Studies Program for personal enrichment.
The college Art Department offers instruction at all levels, from beginning through advanced, in diverse media including: drawing, painting, ceramics, watercolor, photography, and sculpture. The Lake Havasu Campus is unique in its operation of a bronze sculpture casting foundry. Additionally, the Art Department sponsors a continuous series of exhibits through the year in the college gallery, room 204.
