The “Big Band” sound is back in Lake Havasu City with “Lenny Hero Big Band”. Big Band enthusiasts from Wes Humphrey's West Winds and The Lenny Hero Big Band have united with contemporary local talent to form this exciting ensemble.

The Lenny Hero Big Band is led by woodwind whiz Gary Kopp, who many know from his involvement in numerous artistic endeavors in Lake Havasu, including the Lake Havasu Wind Ensemble, MCC Musical Theater, Grace Arts Live, and City Center Entertainment.The band began in spring 2008 with the generous donation by Sally Hero of the use of the music collection of “The Lenny Hero Big Band.” Our repertoire has been augmented with the inclusion of the West Winds Library.
